Mr Stephen S Y WONG

Mr Stephen S.Y. Wong was the Chief Executive Officer of i-CABLE Communications Limited, where he is responsible for the general operations of the Group, and leads the team to unlock the business growth with constant innovation and transformation. He is currently also a board member of Ocean Park Corporation, a mentor for Cyberport Mentorship Services and a member of the Social Enterprise Advisory Committee for the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

With Mr Wong’s extensive experience in branding transformation and management, he co-founded Dory Network Technology Limited, a social enterprise focusing on using design and technology to create impact globally in August 2019. In 2018, he used to be the Director of Strategic Business Development for Swire Coca-Cola Limited, where he charted strategy for vending, smart retail, digital partnership and customer engagement portal for China. In 2011, he had a successful run as the Chief Executive Officer for Asia Miles Limited for 7 years, where he was responsible for managing and growing the Asia's leading travel and lifestyle rewards programme of over 11 million members and more than 700 business partners worldwide

Mr Wong is an ardent advocate of ‘Design Thinking’, a collaborative and customer-focused problem-solving methodology. He takes special interest in a stakeholder-centric approach that combines innovation, customer insights and technology to drive corporate value creation.

Mr Wong always delivers his presentations globally on the value of design thinking and innovation, customer loyalty, customer relationship management & digital transformation. Mr Wong is also the founder and lead curator of Design Thinking in Action, an innovative non-profit community that brings together thought leaders, educators and practitioners to share, learn and grow together in the field of human-centred design since 2016.

Mr Wong has been a Sloan Fellow of the Stanford Graduate School of Business with the Degree of Master of Science in Management and obtained a certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation. Mr Wong also obtained the Degree of Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University, and completed the IESE & INSEAD Executive Education Programme in Spain, France and Singapore.

Like many people, Mr Wong loves football, but he goes a step further than most. He is currently a licensed football coach under the Asian Football Confederation and enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills with young athletes.
